What I learned at the Grocery Store Part 2

A roll of trash bags (12) cost $39.00 Swiss Francs.
You must use the designated bag for your canton.
Being wasteful can be very expensive!
Forgot to bring our grocery bag back. We now own Three.

Hey Cheryl! Loved the photos! Did you sign a lease? How many bedrooms did you end up with :-)? Do women still use those little net bags to carry groceries? What's a canton?

maybe you could start a bag store?
you should knit yourself a fancy grocery bag! i tried writing you before but it didn't work. i hope you are not starving. it sounds like food is an issue there?
how cold is it? when are you moving into your real home? best to you both! love, marla

Hi Karen,
We sign a lease next week. I posted pictures of our Apt. Very charming and Swiss like.
A Canton is comparable to a State.
We live in Zug in the Canton of Zug. There are many villages in cities in the Canton of Zug. I haven't seen net bags yet. Maybe in Germany.

Hi Marla,
We are not starving yet. I think we have the whole grocery thing worked out.
Recycling is another story. Very complicated but the Swiss have it down.

Colder than San Franciso but not too bad.
